Taiwanese memory module supplier A-Data announced on September 15 that the company has entered into a long-term strategic cooperation agreement with Bharti Teletech, a subsidiary of India's leading business conglomerate, Bharti Enterprises, the Economic Daily of Taiwan reported on September 16. Pursuant to the agreement, A-Data will sell and promote flash memory cards and USB (Universal serial Bus) drives in India, leveraging Bharti's comprehensive distribution network, with an aim to expand market presence in India. Furthermore, A-Data expects to expand its product mix to include DRAM (Dynamic Random Access Memory) modules in the future. Aside from India, A-Data also plans to expand its presence in emerging markets, including China, Russia, Mexico and Brazil.
